Kung Fu Panda at Dreamworld

Working for Atomiq Design, I worked on the new DreamWorks Kung Fu Panda area at Dreamworld Australia. We worked alongside Kevin Barbee Creative Advisors to create concepts for the area. Some of my responsibilities included: concept development architectural façade design building and shade structure design area planning graphics and signage sculpture We created a great new space for Dreamworld, that captures the essence of the Kung Fu Panda films. To do this we worked closely with DreamWorks to ensure that the Kung Fu Panda brand was represented in the best possible way.

Initial design for the Kung Fu Academy.
Initial elevations for some of the buildings in the area. 
The shade structure for the ride queue needed to be a cost effective solution that kept with the theme of the area. This design has a simple shade membrane with tiles along the edges. The plant room for the ride was also themed.
One idea for a low cost childrens attraction was a maze. This was later changed to the Kung Fu Academy.
